How is StankyPowder different from other glass cleaners?
StankyPowder uses a unique combination of natural cleaning agents without harsh chemicals or dangerous oxidizers. Our formula features activated charcoal and zeolite for superior odor control - something you won't find in typical cleaners. We use gentler, safer ingredients that are effective through mechanical action, surfactants, and chelation rather than aggressive chemical reactions.
How do I use StankyPowder?
- Rinse your piece with water first
- Add ½ to 1 scoop of StankyPowder (use included scooper)
- Fill with warm water (the warmer, the better - but be careful with glass temperature changes)
- Cap all openings and shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds
- Let it sit for 5-30 minutes for tougher buildup
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water
- Repeat if necessary for heavy buildup
Pro tip: For best results, use the warmest water your piece can safely handle, and use the included funnel to get powder into tight spaces!
How many cleanings will I get per bag?
Small bag (90g): Approximately 20-30 cleaning sessions
Large bag (200g): Approximately 35-50 cleaning sessions
This depends on the size of your piece and how much buildup you're cleaning. Smaller pieces and regular maintenance cleaning use less product.
Does StankyPowder really control odors?
Yes! We use a dual-action approach with both activated charcoal and zeolite. Activated charcoal adsorbs odor molecules through its massive surface area (500-1500 m²/g), while zeolite's honeycomb structure provides both absorption and adsorption. This combination is what commercial operations use for maximum odor control effectiveness. Your piece won't just look clean - it'll smell clean too.
Will StankyPowder work on heavy resin buildup?
StankyPowder works best for regular maintenance cleaning and moderate buildup. For extremely heavy, caked-on resin, you may need to:
- Use 2 scoops instead of 1
- Let it soak for 30-60 minutes
- Do multiple cleaning cycles
- Use hotter water (carefully!)

Is StankyPowder safe to use?
StankyPowder is formulated without harsh chemicals, but like all cleaning products, it requires proper handling:
With proper precautions (eye protection, avoiding dust inhalation), StankyPowder is safe for regular cleaning use. It contains no explosive oxidizers, no bleach, and no toxic solvents.
What safety equipment should I use?
Required: Safety glasses or goggles (regular glasses aren't sufficient)
Recommended: Rubber gloves, dust mask if you're sensitive to particles
Always: Work in a well-ventilated area and keep windows open
If product gets in eyes, rinse for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
Is StankyPowder safe for all glass types?
Yes! StankyPowder is safe for all glass types including borosilicate, soft glass, quartz, and ceramic. It won't etch, scratch, or damage your pieces. The mild acidic pH (3.5-4.5) is gentle enough for regular use but effective for cleaning. Always avoid extreme temperature changes with any glass piece.
Can I mix StankyPowder with other cleaners?
NO. Never mix StankyPowder (or any cleaning product) with other chemicals, especially bleach or ammonia. Use StankyPowder by itself with water only. Mixing cleaning products can create dangerous chemical reactions.

Why doesn't StankyPowder contain isopropyl alcohol or acetone?
We designed StankyPowder to be a safer, non-flammable alternative to solvent-based cleaners. No harsh fumes, no fire hazard, no shipping restrictions. Our mechanical and surfactant-based cleaning approach is gentler but still effective - perfect for regular maintenance cleaning.
Is StankyPowder eco-friendly?
Our ingredients are biodegradable and non-toxic to aquatic life when used as directed. The formula contains no phosphates, no harsh solvents, and no chlorine bleach. However, always dispose of cleaning water responsibly and never dump directly into storm drains or natural water sources.
